about me

I received my first art commission in second grade when a friend offered me two cents to draw Charlie Brown. My love for illustrating has never diminished. After college I began a freelance illustration career working in airbrush, and eventually transitioning to digital illustration. My wife doesn’t miss the fumes!
Over a decade ago I began a series of wildlife illustrations using a variety of techniques. I like using bright, saturated colors and situating creatures in dramatic environments, sometimes bordering on fantasy. I call the series, “Wonders of Creation.” I see the beauty of wildlife as a reflection of the beauty of God.
I live in Massachusetts with my wife and two daughters, along with foxes, fishers, deer, coyotes and the occasional bear or bobcat. I enjoy the outdoors, landscaping, and visiting Maine and Cape Cod with my wife as much as we can.
